Together with the type species of <i>Microeciella, M. beliensis</i> sp. nov., the Belchite bryozoans consist of <i>M. reflexa</i> sp. nov., '<i>Proboscina</i>' cf. <i>divisi</i> Vine and an undetermined bereniciform tubuloporinid. <i>M. reflexa</i> is unusual in having an erect ancestrular tube from which a daughter zooid descends to reestablish contact with the substrate.
