This paper presents a second species from the Andaman Sea. This new species differs from <i>Saginafusus pricei</i> E A Smith,1887 in shell morphology and geographical distribution, with <i>S. pricei</i> being restricted to the Timor Sea. The new species is periodically sold through the shell souvenir market. The shells sold at these markets originate from local fishermen operating in the shallow parts of the Andaman Sea.
