SOWERBY II non DILLWYN). and <i>Muricopsis westonensis</i> Myers & D'Attilio, 1990. <i>Muricopsis zeteki</i> Is a widespread species occurring throughout the eastern tropical Pacific from the head of the Gulf of California to Guayaquil, Ecuador (Keen, 1971), but also Galapagos.
