In this first part of the study, the systematics of 7 species of Cypraeidae is presented here. 5 new species are described: <i>Borystheniella incisa</i> nov. sp., <i>S. gracilenta</i> nov. sp., <i>S. zamberlani</i> nov. sp., <i>Praerosaria stefanskyii</i> nov. sp. and <i>P. borysthenis</i> nov. sp. The new genus <i>Borystheniella</i> is proposed. Bernaya excellens (von Koenen, 1890) and Subepona anhaltina (Giebel, 1861), described at the origin from the Lattorfian (Priabonian, Upper Eocene) of Deutschland, are reported for the first time in the Priabonian of Ukraine.
