Révision du groupe <i>Glabella mozambicana</i> Boyer, 2014 dans le nord-Mozambique. <i>Xenophora taxonomy 22</i>: 25-32","BEntID":317051,"PublicFlag":1,"CheckedFlag":0,"wosflag":0,"vabbflag":0,"RefStringPartII":". <i>Xenophora taxonomy 22</i>: 25-32","DocTypID":8,"DocType":"Journal article","MarineFlag":0,"FreshFlag":0,"BrackishFlag":0,"TerrestrialFlag":0,"Authorstring":"Boyer, F.; Rosado, J.; Gori, S.","OrigTitleTranslFlag":0,"Authorstringtrunc":"Boyer, F.; Rosado, J.; Gori, S.","Englishabstract":"A group composed of two affine species of large sized <i>Glabella</i> is recognized along the northern Mozambique area: <i>G. mozambicana</i> Boyer, 2014 and <i>G. macua</i> sp. nov. <i>G. mozambicana</i> is only known through two forms: its typical form found in the Fernao Veloso Bay and the vicinity of Nacala (Nampula Province), where it is collected on open sandy bottoms from 2 to 10 m, and a northern form living in the Pemba area (Cabo Delgado Province), where it is collected in the same habitat from intertidal to 12 m. <i>G. macua</i> is collected in a mixed environment, made of sandy pockets spread among sponges and softcora l formations on hard floor, from the llha Mozambique area (Nampula Province) by 18-23 m of depth, up to the Quirimbas Archipelago, located north from Pemba, by 18-20 m. The typical form of <i>G. mozambicana</i> and its northern form both appear to be strongly homogeneous, and are distinguishable from each other by several constant features which may reflect a simple geographical variation. Pen ding further study of the animal chromatism for the population from Pemba, it is considered as conspecific with the population from Fernao Veloso/Nacala.
