The examination of conchological characters and the analysis of the homologies of apertural barriers revealed that some new genera must be introduced. <i>Parasinoennea</i> Z.-Y. Chen & Páll-Gergely, new genus, is erected to include a few species from Vietnam and southern China. <i>Platylennea</i> Páll-Gergely, new genus, and <i>Rowsonia</i> Páll-Gergely, new genus, include species from the Western Ghats of southern India. <i>Pupennea</i> Páll-Gergely, new genus, is erected for <i>Pupa planguncula</i> Benson, 1863, which inhabits central India. All these three are probably members of the Diapheridae. We list all Diapheridae species of India and Myanmar, and describe three new species from Myanmar as follows: <i>Diaphera polita</i> Páll-Gergely, new species; <i>Diaphera turbanophora</i> Páll-Gergely & Grego, new species; <i>Sinoennea montawana</i> Páll-Gergely & Hunyadi, new species. <i>Sinoennea longtanensis</i> S. Ouyang, X.-M. Liu & X.-P.
