These efforts are expected to reap huge dividends to the marine biology sector, agro‐based industries, marine biology by‐products utilization, marine improvement, and better management of the environment. A biological database is a large, organized body of persistent data, usually associated with computerized software designed to update, query, and retrieve components of the data stored within the system. A common goal of current marine genomics research is to establish an expandable platform for global classification and analysis of marine gene family space. A wide range of biological data analysis tools are: similarity searching tools, protein function analysis, and structural analysis.
