Morphologically <i>P. anfoozi</i> n. sp. is similar to <i>P. papernai</i> Kabata &amp; Deets, 1988 in possessing an armature of I,6 on the third exopodal segment of leg 2 rather than I,7 in the other species of this group. However, <i>P. anfoozi</i> n. sp. can be distinguished from <i>P. papernai</i> by the possession of only 5 caudal setae instead of 6, and in the shape of the caudal rami, which are shorter and wider in new species.
