Er zijn 2 formules bepaald om aan de hand van de stuwstand en het op- en afwaartse waterpeil het debiet te bepalen dat over en/of onder de stuw passeert: een overstortformule over de klep (Qklep) en een onderstromingsformule wanneer het water onder het segment stroomt (Qseg). In het bestek voor de bouw van de stuw werd een post voorzien “Ijking van de debietcurve over een stuw door een bekwame instantie” om deze formules te controleren. Aan het Hydrologisch Informatiecentrum van het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium (WL-HIC) werd gevraagd om deze ijking uit te voeren.<br> De ijking werd opgesplitst in 2 delen: een afijking voor de normale dagdagelijkse debieten (0-50 m³/s) in de zomerperiode van 2020 en een afijking in het voorjaar van 2021 bij hogere debieten (ifv. beschikbaar debiet). Tegelijk met deze metingen werd ook een controle uitgevoerd van de gemeten waterpeilen.<br> Een controle van de tijdelijke peilmeters leerde dat de opwaartse peilen 0,069 m te hoog worden gemeten, de afwaartse 0,020 m te laag. Alle waterpeilen die werden opgevraagd voor de verdere analyse, werden vervolgens met deze waarden gecorrigeerd.<br> De door WL-HIC berekende debieten wijken af van de door WL-HIC gemeten debieten. Algemeen zijn de berekende debieten 30% lager dan de gemeten debieten. De berekende debieten over de klep zijn gemiddeld maar 3% hoger, de berekende debieten onder het segment gemiddeld 32% lager.<br> Op basis van literatuuronderzoek en gestaafd door de uitgevoerde metingen stellen we voor om de debietcoëfficiënt voor de klep te behouden op 1,86 en de debietcoëfficiënt voor het segment te verhogen van 0,58 tot 0,70 à 0,80. Daarnaast wordt gevraagd om de debietcoëfficiënten editeerbaar te maken.
