Barron (1995) defined bioaccumulation process as gathering of pollutants, such as nutrients (nitrates, phosphates, sulfates, organic and inorganic carbon compounds), metals, pesticides, or other organic chemicals in an organism, and transferring of organic or inorganic pollutants inside of microbial organisms.
