A total of nine species was identified, including two new species and seven new records from the South China Sea and one new record from the Northwest Pacific region. Two new species are described as <i><span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Asteroschema shenhaiyongshii\"><span class=\"genus\" full-name=\"Asteroschema\">Asteroschema</span> <span class=\"species\" full-name=\"shenhaiyongshii\">shenhaiyongshii</span></span></i> <b>sp. nov.</b> and <i><span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Asteroschema domogranulatum\"><span class=\"genus\" full-name=\"Asteroschema\">Asteroschema</span> <span class=\"species\" full-name=\"domogranulatum\">domogranulatum</span></span></i> <b>sp. nov</b>. The seven new records included five species from the genus <i><span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Asteroschema\"><span class=\"genus\" full-name=\"Asteroschema\">Asteroschema</span></span></i>, and one species each from the genera <i><span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Asterostegus\"><span class=\"genus\" full-name=\"Asterostegus\">Asterostegus</span></span></i> and <i><span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Astrodendrum\"><span class=\"genus\" full-name=\"Astrodendrum\">Astrodendrum</span></span></i>. Comprehensive descriptions of morphological features are provided, including characteristics of the arm skeleton, as well as a phylogenetic analysis based on 16S and <abbr title=\"cytochrome c oxidase I\" id=\"ABBRID0E1F\">COI</abbr> sequences. Intraspecific genetic distance ranges of <span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Euryalida\"><span class=\"order\" full-name=\"\">Euryalida</span></span> species from the present study were 0.34% to 1.38%, which was relatively low compared to other orders in the class <span class=\"tn\" data-taxon-parsed-name=\"Ophiuroidea\"><span class=\"class\" full-name=\"\">Ophiuroidea</span></span>.
