A further species, <i>Sclerocrangon richardsoni</i> n.sp. is described from c. 550 fm in Cook Strait. The definition of the family Rhynchocinetidae is amended to include the Eugonatonotidae and <i>Lipkius holthuisi</i> n.gen., n.sp. The Australian <i>Campylonotus rathbunae</i> is recorded from New Zealand waters and shown to be a protandrous hermaphrodite. A key to the genus <i>Campylonotus</i> is given, based on a re-examination of types in the British Museum (N.H.). <i>Notopandalus</i> n.gen. is described for <i>Pandalus magnoculus</i> Bate, a widespread New Zealand shelf and archibenthal species recorded here for the first time since its description in 1888. <i>P. magnoculus</i> is not a protandrous hermaphrodite. <i>Sclerocrangon knoxi</i> n.sp., <i>Pontophilus acutirostratus</i> n.sp. and <i>Prionocrangon curvicaulis</i> n.sp. form an interesting and unique southern hemisphere assemblage of Crangonids. Details of rostral variation, colour pattern and distribution have been given where possjble.
