Title

Una nueva especie de Oxyurostylis Calman, 1912 (Crustacea: Peracarida) de Cuba

Abstract

A new species of the genus Oxyurostylis is described from the Cuban waters. The noticeable hump on the back of the penultimate segment of the pereon easily distinguishes this species. The new species is the sixth known of the genus recorded for the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, as well as the tenth known worldwide.

Se describe una especie nueva del género Oxyurostylis para las aguas cubanas. La giba notable en el dorso del penúltimo segmento del pereón distingue con facilidad esta especie. La especie nueva es la sexta especie del género citada para el golfo de México y el mar Caribe, así como la décima que se conoce a nivel mundial.
