Both newly described species belong to the southwestern Caucasian “<em>Niphargus borutzkyi</em>” ingroup related to the European “<em>carphaticus</em>” species complex and can be clearly separated from the congeners by morphological features, mostly in uropod III and epimeral plates, and genetically.
