Abstract
The giant red sea cucumber Apostichopus californicus is the largest species of sea cucumber on the west coast of Canada and the United States of America. This chapter summarizes research on the biology, physiology, ecology, aquaculture, and commercial products of the species. Future directions and research gaps are also discussed.
