It has been previously reported from the Arabian Sea, off Gujarat coast and Maharashtra (type localities). The present specimens were collected from Kalingapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. The identification was confirmed after critical verification of protoconch, teleoconch, shell characters and spiral cords.
