Vanuit Port of Antwerp-Bruges is de vraag gekomen om een update te maken. Het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium heeft hier gekozen voor een hybride aanpak van terreinmetingen en numerieke modellering.Voorliggend rapport presenteert de verwerkte stationaire stromingsmetingen van de meetcampagne die tussen 10 en 26 augustus 2023 door het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium in samenwerking met MDK-aKust en DAB Vloot werd uitgevoerd. Hierbij werden stroommeters uitgelegd net buiten de voorhaven, aan weerszijde van het vaarwater.Er werd een eerste analyse uitgevoerd naar de variatie van de maximale eb- en vloedsnelheid in functie van de getijcondities. Daaruit blijkt dat voor beide getijfases (eb en vloed) en beide locaties de maximale snelheid toeneemt wanneer het getijverschil toeneemt. De westelijke meetlocatie wordt gekenmerkt door hogere vloedsnelheden, terwijl de oostelijke meetlocatie een hogere ebsnelheid kent (maar nog steeds kleiner dan de maximale vloedsnelheid). Dit heeft voornamelijk te maken met de locatie van de meetframes ten opzichte van de dammen en de invloed van de dammen op de eb- en vloedstroming.In beide locaties is ook een duidelijke variatie van de maximale snelheid bij eb en vloed terug te vinden bij verschillende getijcondities. De maximale vloedsnelheid varieert van ca. 1 m/s (2 kn) bij doodtij tot ca. 2 m/s (4 kn) bij springtij. Bij de maximale ebsnelheid is de variatie kleiner: van ca. 0,75 m/s (1,5 kn) bij doodtij tot ca. 1,5 m/s (3 kn) bij springtij.","BibLvlCode":"MS","StandardTitle":"Stroomatlas Zeebrugge: deelrapport 15.
