Biodiversity record: The double-pointed drill, Orania bimucronata, in Singapore
Abstract
Three snails of about 18 mm shell height, were each found separately on rocks among encrusting organisms (Figs. 1–3). While wet shells are dark brown and black, dried shells have a black and white chequered pattern. Spiral nodules were noted to be prominent especially on the last whorl. The yellow operculum is thin and corneous (Fig. 4).
