A total of seven spe?cies have been recorded in Vietnam including five new species: <i>Pseudodesmus bidoup</i> sp. nov., <i>Pseudodesmus karstomus</i> sp. nov., <i>Pseudodesmus ngoclinh</i> sp. nov., <i>Pseudodesmus condao</i> sp. nov., and <i>Pseudodesmus irregularis</i> sp. nov.
