The HPR (Hull‐Propeller‐Rudder) interactions without the free surface effect in&nbsp; all four quadrants are investigated and the inflow to the rudder is analysed. Rudder inflow velocities are extracted to compare&nbsp; the impact of propeller loadings in different quadrants, and vortex structures around the rudder are visualised to show the&nbsp; flow field co herence.
