A literature survey of fishes found in the deep-sea environment beyond 200&nbsp;m depth documented 205 length-weight relationships for 117 species belonging to 52 families and 20 orders of deep-sea Teleostei from the Indian marine waters. In addition, Fulton condition factor (<i>K<sub>F</sub></i>) value of 12 species and the relative condition factor (<i>K<sub>n</sub></i>) value of 6 species were collated. The maximum investigations on the LWRs were found in 2018 and 2020 (year), Perciformes and Scombriformes (order), and Gempylidae (family). The mean slope (<i>b</i>) value of LWRs was found significantly different from the ideal value (3) indicating hypoallometric growth (<i>b</i> &lt; 3). The linear equations are obtained after removing outliers by using the plot of log <i>a</i> (intercept) versus <i>b</i> for two species. The <i>K<sub>F</sub></i> value of majority of deep-sea fishes was found less than 1 suggesting a leaner body, which is consistent with the prey-scarce and energy-limited environment of the deep-sea.
