Voor de analyse werden twee &nbsp;scenario's onderzocht: de huidige situatie (referentierun) en de situatie met westelijke uitbreiding van &nbsp;de NZT. Het Scaldis2019 model in TELEMAC-3D werd ingezet om de hydrodynamische parameters zoals &nbsp;maximale stroomsnelheid en overschrijdingsfrequentie van kritische bodemschuifspanningen te &nbsp;simuleren. Door de uitbreiding van de NZT zal het oostelijk deel van het Groot Buitenschoor nog meer &nbsp;afgeschermd worden van stroming en golven.
