Macroalgae serve as effective indicators of environmental health due to their community structure and species composition. This study aimed to characterize the community structure and composition of macroalgal species in Southeast Bali waters. Purposive sampling was conducted using quadrat transects at three stations: Serangan, Benoa Bay, and Gunung Payung coast. A total of 80 macroalgal species were identified, comprising 21 Chlorophyta, 17 Ochrophyta, and 42 Rhodophyta species. Percent cover of macroalgae ranged from 12.86 to 48.54% for Rhodophyta, 0.09 to 10.89% for Ochrophyta, and 30.08 to 63.37% for Chlorophyta. The average diversity index (H') was 2.346, indicating moderate diversity; the evenness index (E) averaged 0.642, reflecting high species evenness; and the dominace index (C) was 0.213, indicating low dominance.
