The longer duration of LH stimulation by the chicken (c) GnRH-II suggests that this form is less prone to enzymatic degradation probably because the endogenous peptidases have a higher specificity for the usually more abundant seabream (sb) GnRH. Similarly, of the GnRHas tested, again the GnRHas based on the cGnRH-II had a higher potency than the ones prepared based on the sbGnRH form.
