Parabopyrella frevo</i> <strong>sp. n</strong>. is characterised by a suboval body, short frontal lamina, eyes present, inner ridge of first oostegite with digitations, pereopods with cluster of scales on the carpi and meri, pleomeres on the shorter side of pleon with pointed margins and on the longer side with rectangular margins, and a semicircular pleotelson. In addition, we describe aspects of the relationship between the host and the parasites, which can significantly affect the life of the host.
