Hierbij werd voor &nbsp;elk GOG een zo goed mogelijke drempelwaarde voor GOG-werking vastgelegd op basis van ontwerphoogtes &nbsp;overloopdijken, opmetingen overloopdijken en terreinwaarnemingen van overloop in de afgelopen jaren. &nbsp;Deze analyse is uitgevoerd voor alle GOG’s die actief waren op 31/12/2024 en gepland zijn tot en met 2030.<br>Over de periode 2015-2024 had Anderstadt Afwaarts (Nete) het meeste GOG-werking. Voor 78% van &nbsp;de hoogwaters waarbij er minstens één GOG in het tijgebied van de Schelde werkte ging het enkel om &nbsp;Anderstadt Afwaarts. Na dit GOG werkten Paardeweide, Uiterdijk en Zennegat het meest over de &nbsp;geanalyseerde periode. In 2024 waren er het meeste hoogwaters en events (meerdere hoogwaters met &nbsp;GOG-werking na elkaar) waarbij er minimaal één GOG werkend was. Echter ging het hierbij vaak over &nbsp;een beperkt aantal GOG’s. In 2020 en 2022 waren er respectievelijk veel hoogwaters en events met &nbsp;GOG-werking waarbij er vaak meerdere GOG’s in werking traden. Over de periode 2015-2024 werd reeds &nbsp;GOG-werking geregistreerd vanaf een hoogwater Antwerpen tij/Zeeschelde van 5.43mTAW. Hierbij &nbsp;werd de GOG-werking gestuurd door een hoge bovenafvoer.<br>Deze resultaten werden dan gebruikt om GOG-werking voorafgaand aan een storm op basis van de dagelijks &nbsp;opgestelde verwachtingen voor een aantal sleutellocaties in het tijgebied van de Schelde (YAMI-posten) en &nbsp;enkel op basis van de hoofdtijpost Antwerpen tij/Zeeschelde in te schatten aan de hand van het vastleggen &nbsp;van vuistregels en/of het opstellen van regressies. Dit kunnen waardevolle werkinstrumenten zijn bij storm. De performantie van de gebruikte methodes werd ingeschat en vergeleken. De evaluatie hiervan gaf aan dat, &nbsp;zoals verwacht, voor de meeste GOG’s het gebruik van (meerdere) YAMI-posten betere verwachtingen &nbsp;oplevert dan bij het gebruik van (enkel) hoofdtijpost Antwerpen tij/Zeeschelde. Over de periode 2015-2024 &nbsp;wordt de verwachte GOG-werking zeer goed tot perfect ingeschat voor de GOG’s stroomafwaarts op de &nbsp;Zeeschelde en op de Rupel en Dijle. De verwachte GOG-werking van Potpolder IV, een GOG opwaarts op de &nbsp;Durme, wordt het minst goed ingeschat.
