Twenty-two representative samples, gathering 30,208 individuals, were collected along the 12 km long coast. The frequency of discretum , well represented, decreases gradually from west to east. <i>Ornatum</i> and <i>lunulatum</i>, which present an important correlation in the distribution, decrease from east to west and predominate on the south-east coast, well sheltered and warmer in summer.
