Bionomically speaking, their basic composition is a community with <i>Abra ovata, Loripes lucinalis, Nephthys hombergii, Melinna palmata</i> and <i>Leptosynapta inhaerens</i>. Locally, the structure of this association is modified by variations of the parameters and is then chracterized by the proliferation of some peculiar species. The repartition of infralittoral species extends higher in the eulittoral zone, essentially in relation with high water content of the substratum.
