Two ultrastructural methods of calcium revelation by potassium pyroantimonate and by sodium N,N-naphthaloylhydroxylamine (NHA) were used. Wave-length dispersive and energy selective X-ray microanalysis indicate that accumulated calcium is associated with phosphorus. The repartition of calcium, located together with pigments within vesicles, shows a progressive evolution.
