These stages have provided the basis to develop a detoxification biomarker for use in monitoring applications. The fluorescence-based EROD enzyme microplate assay has the advantage of being a fast, inexpensive and easily implemented method. The method described is the outcome of ten years of experience supported by the national observation network RNO.
