More than 100 species are identified; they are considered as epineritic species and most of them are known from the southern coast of England. A correspondance analysis shows that the stations group into two faunal assemblages according to the input of freshwater from the river Seine and the percentage of fine particules in the sediment. From a biogeographical point of view, the ostracods of the Bay of Seine can be divided into two main groups: firstly boreal species, which are not recorded south of the English Channel, secondly species with a large biogeographical range which are known from the Norwegian coast of the North Sea to the Bay of Biscay or to the Mediterranean Sea or the coast of Morocco. A parsimonious analysis is used to establish biogeographical relationship between five areas: North Sea, Bay of Seine, Bay of Biscay, Morocco Coast and western Mediterranean Sea. Two groups are identified from this analysis; firstly the two southern areas, and secondly the three boreal areas. In the Bay of Seine, the ratio of ostracods/foraminifers is lower than 6%.","AbstractOtherLang":"Un premier inventaire des ostracodes de la baie de Seine est présenté. Plus de 100 espèces sont identifiées, pour la plupart déjà décrites en milieu épinéritique au sud des lles Britanniques. Une analyse factorielle de correspondance met en évidence l'existence de deux ensembles fauniques en relation avec la proximité des arrivées fluviales et la teneur en particules fines du sédiment. Au point de vue géographique, les ostracodes de la baie de Seine peuvent être répartis en deux groupes principaux, l'un constitué d'espèces nordiques inconnues au sud de la Manche, l'autre d'espèces à large répartition latitudinale, citées depuis la Mer du Nord ou les côtes de Norvège jusqu'au Golfe de Gascogne, voire jusqu'au Maroc ou à la Méditerranée. Une analyse de parcimonie de l'ensemble des ostracodes de la Mer du Nord, de la baie de Seine, du Golfe de Gascogne, du littoral atlantique marocain et de la Méditerranée occidentale conduit par ailleurs à distinguer d'une part les deux régions meridionales, Méditerranée occidentale et côtes du Maroc, et d'autre part les trois régions septentrionales, Golfe de Gascogne, baie de Seine et Mer du Nord.
