Het slibtransport is volgens de ééndimensionale massabalansvergelijking benaderd. Aangezien het aantal meetpunten in de dwarsraai beperkt is,hebben de in deze nota gepresenteerde gegevens een indikatief karakter. De ontbinding van het transport in komponenten maakt het mogelijk de diverse invloeden die het transport bepalen te onderscheiden. De berekende gemiddelde transportkomponenten<sup>1</sup> ) zijn; het totaal transport (18 kg/s), het advektief transport<sup>3</sup>) (32,8 kg/s) en het totale resttransport (-14,8 kg/s).<br> Het totale resttransport (dispersie transport) is gesplitst in een horizontaal deel (-25 kg/s) en een vertikaal deel (10,2 kg/s) Uit deze resttransporten zijn vervolgens de effektieve<sup>2</sup>) dispersiecoëfficiënten berekend, waarbij is aangenomen, dat een gradiënt-type transport benadering toepasselijk is; de totale effektieve dispersiecoëfficiënt is dan -400 m<sup>2</sup>/s, de horizontale effektieve dispersiecoëfficiënt -670 m<sup>2</sup>/s en de vertikale effektieve dispersiecoëfficiënt 270 m<sup>2</sup>/s. De berekende effektieve dispersiecoëfficiënten hebben zowel een positieve als negatieve waarde.
