In the latter population the adults are distinctly larger, but otherwise morphologically indistinguishable. The statistical relationship between body lenght, indicative of size, and the growth of taxonomically significant characters, has been studied in adults and juveniles of both populations. The lenghts of pharynx, tail, spicules, labial and cephalic setae, mandible and onchium, head width, and the position of the vulva and male supplement, were measured. It is concluded that the two populations belong to the same species with a very discontinuous distribution.
