We refer here on three new findings from running waters of Corsica and Sardinia Islands. The diagnostic characters of our specimens, such as spicules morphology and gemmule structure, fit well with those of the original description. The peculiar disjunct distribution is intriguing and we propose some hypotheses to explain it.
