Vertical tows from bottom to surface were done with a WP-2 net (0.5 m2 mouth area, 180 µm mesh) at 7 stations in March 1998, 2 stations in May 1998, and 10 stations in July 1999. Sampling stations were geo-referenced with a GPS using decimal latitude and longitude with 2 decimals. This resulted into a digital database with 508 rows and 18 species. The ship was R/V Jan Mayen.
