Description @en: A detailed mapping of both the sedimentology and the geomorphological structures (dunes, ripples) in the Maritime Scheldts is carried out. Furthermore the residual sediment transport paths are deduced from the geometric characteristics of the bedforms and from de variations in the sedimentological parameters.
Description @nl: Een gedetailleerde kartering van zowel de sedimentologie als de geomorfologische structuren (duinen, ribbels) op de bodem van de Maritieme Schelde wordt uitgevoerd. Voorts worden op basis van de geometrische eigenschappen van de bodemstructuren en de variaties in de sedimentologische parameters, de residuele sedimenttransportrichtingen bepaald.
