The 4DEMON project will centralise, integrate and valorise data compiled during expeditions in the BCS over the last four decades, forming an important Belgian scientific heritage. DEMON will focus on data on contaminants, eutrophication and ocean acidification processes.

- Historische data zijn essentieel om langetermijnsveranderingen in de kwaliteit van het mariene milieu te kunnen begrijpen. Het 4DEMON project richt zich op het centraliseren, integreren en herwaarderen van data verzameld gedurende 40 jaar expedities in het BCP. 4DEMON focust zich op contaminanten en data voor het bepalen van eutrofiëring en acidificatie.
