Abstract
    The basic objectives of the conference were to establish a platform to exchange views on sustainable education and training methods in marine sciences, develop approaches to meet new challenges and increase result effectiveness. The conference organized by Russian State Hydrometeorological University to mark the 50th Anniversary of the IOC, is considered as a constribution to the MDG and the UN Decade on Education for Sustainable Development
