Usage acknowledgement may be required Description The World Ocean Database 1998 is a gobal database containing physical oceanography data, compiled by the WDC-A for Oceanography, Siver Springs. At VLIZ, we extracted data from the North Sea from this database, and created a user interface. more The World Ocean Database 1998 is a gobal database containing physical oceanography data, compiled by the WDC-A for Oceanography, Siver Springs. At VLIZ, data from the North Sea were extracted from this database, and a user interface was created. World Ocean Database 1998 is a database containing data from all the oceans of the world, compiled by the WDC-A for Oceanography, Silver Springs. WOD98 was released in 1998. A new version of the World Ocean Database, WOD01, has been released while this user interface was constructed. Data from the new release will be incorporated in the database feeding this interface as soon as possible.
