Description
The Macroben database is compiled and will be used within the Marbef Theme 1 framework. more

The data from the Oslo database is further expanded with 24 new datasets into the second version of the database. The second version of this database has a completely different structure. The basic structure of the new database (Macroben database) consists mainly out of four tables: dr (distribution records); tu (taxonomy), stations, abiotic readings and meta. The database contains at the moment 458,424 distribution records, 11,358 different taxa, 22,046 stations and 40,766 abiotic readings. Depth is available for 403,576 distribution records (88%). Different tools such as export data, preliminary analysis, calculation of indexes and calculation of gridcells are available.
