| Abstract |
The morphogenesis of the ciliature of the oral area is one of the best characters showing at the same time the unity and diversification of the cortical pattern in Cyrtophorida. Whithin the revised classification of the order (de PUYTORAC and al, 1974), the new family of the Plesiotrichopidae keeps uncertain between the suborders Chlamydodontina (genus Atelepithites n.g. and Trochochilodon n.g. without glandule) and Dysteriina (genus Plesiotrichopus E. FAURÉ-FREMIET, 1965, and Pithites G. DEROUX and J. DRAGESCO, 1968). Comparatively to the description of the morphogenesis of the oral structures in Chilodonella (Trithigmostomà) cucullulus by RADZIKOWSKI, 1966, the stomatogenesis appears to be much simplified in different species of the Plesiotrichopidae although the main characters of the order are still obvious. |
