Abstract
The results of a five-year study (1999-2003) on the genus Fucellia (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) of marine and coastal habitats are presented. In fourteen localities situated along the western and eastern sections of the Polish Baltic coast and in brackish areas of the coastal type, 2811 specimens of F. tergina (Zetterstedt),F. griseola (Fallén) and F. fucorum (Fallén) were collected. F. fucorum was caught for the first time in almost seventy years.
