Abstract
    A new species of Amphidromus s.s. was collected from high altitude at MountMantalingajan in the southern part of Palawan Island, Philippines. It has a different shell outlineand differs in several shell characters compared with other Amphidromus s.s. This new species isespecially compared with Amphidromus entobaptus (Dohm 1889) that also lives in Palawan andits satellite islands in the Calamianes Archipelago in the North East of Palawan.
