Abstract
    This new guide allows identification of all the aquatic mollusc species currently recorded from Poland - 63 species of Gastropoda (54 freshwater, 9 marine) and 47 species of Bivalvia (37 freshwater, 10 marine). The general chapters contains detailed descriptions of the molluscan morphology as well as ecology of snails and bivalves. Includes keys to families, genera and species, as well as detailed descriptions of each species, including shell, variability and similarity to other species, soft parts, ecology and biology, distribution. Shells of all species are illustrated with colour photos.
