Abstract
    Describes Pseudoplanulinella hieroglyphica n. g. n. sp. and the new variety P. hieroglyphica bartensteini from Aquitanian (Tertiary) deposits of Aquitaine, France, and discusses the stratigraphic and systematic importance of closely related foraminifers belonging to the genera Queraltina and Almaena.
