| Abstract |
A systematic survey of fresh water desmids of two localities of the Allahabad district viz., McPherson and Baghla lakes was undertaken. Forms of Dismidiacea are being recorded in this communication for the first time from this area. Taxa recorded here include (the numbers in parentheses indicate the number of taxa of each genus) Cosmarium (7), Euastrum (1) and Staurastrum (2). |
