Abstract
    A new species belonging to the family Clenchiellidae D. W. Taylor, 1966, genus Clenchiella, from the Abatan River estuary, on Bohol Island, Philippines, is described. It is compared with the previously known species of the genus Clenchiella Abbott, 1948 in the Pacific Ocean.
