Abstract
Darioconus cathyae sp. nov. from the tropical north west to south central Pacific ocean is described and compared to Darioconus auratinus (da Motta, 1982) from Tuamotu & Society archipelagoes and to D. aulicus (Linnaeus, 1758) from the tropical Indo-Pacific. Darioconus michelcharlesi sp. nov. from south western Madagascar is described from material obtained from local fishermen in the lagoon in the north of Toliara. The new species is compared to D. gracianus (da Motta & Blöcher, 1982) from the same area, D. auricomus (Hwass in Bruguière, 1792) and D. aulicus (Linnaeus, 1758) both from tropical Indo-Pacific.
