Abstract
Climate change has profound effects on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems individually, but can also impact the connections between the two. Aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems are expected to respond differently to warming, and studies have suggested that warming could increase the rate of resource flux between the two but decrease the quality of such resources. Currently, experimental data on the cross-ecosystem impacts of warming remains limited, particularly for tropical ecosystems.
