Abstract
The first records of the non-native tanaidid Sinelobus vanhaareni Bamber, 2014 from Britain are presented here. The species was discovered in wall-fouling communities during environmental surveys at two locations in the tidal River Thames. Based on the distance between the sampling locations, the time elapsed between records, the presence of ovigerous females, and the abundance recorded, the species appears well established in wall-fouling communities in the surveyed part of the Thames Estuary.
